Pros

Laid back work environment, pretty good starting pay if you're forklift qualified, lots of free pizza

Cons

Very unorganized and unsafe work environment, not family owned anymore so overtime is clamped down on big time, complete lack of pride in the crappy Chinese product that we peddle.

Belnick values it's it employees and their dedication to our mission. Over half of our leadership team is made up of employees who started with us in entry level roles. Their long-term dedication is the reason we continue to thrive today! With regard to the comment about our unsafe environment, Belnick is committed to providing an environment that is safe for everyone to work in. We have three safety teams that meet monthly to discuss areas of opportunity. We recently completed a safety initiative where we installed blue safety lights on all of our warehouse vehicles. These lights shine a blue light on the floor, to alert pedestrians when they are near.

Pros

Decent base pay and commissions, particularly for people without a college degree. Good benefits. Good resume` experience. Great co-workers, for the most part.

Cons

Upper management disconnect with people working in trenches. Middle management fear of speaking up regarding company issues that adversely affect working departments. Managers are too afraid of losing their jobs. Also somewhat of a street wise, quasi bullying approach to subordinates is evident. Not sure if this is due to fear of job threat, result of stress, or just generally overblown egos trying to maintain themselves. Training is almost non-existent, but co-workers are good to help out. Supervision is OK if the day is going well for them; otherwise, forget asking a question.
