Pros

Feels truly like a family environment even though there are hundreds of employees, Uline really takes the time to show appreciation for their employees- the bonuses are unheard of, and employee involvement is great.

Cons

The dress code is a little strict but nothing hard or unreasonable to comply with

Pros

The people are impressive. Everyone I interacted with through the interview process and since I've joined the team have been very high caliber. The working conditions are great. Uline has high expectations of its employees while providing the support and stability needed to set you up for success. The food is also amazing. More than anything, the way that Uline treats the customer is unlike anything I have seen. It is a great place to work!

Cons

Some people point to the dress code as a con. While I understand this, as a manager at my former company that didn't have as clear of a policy, the ambiguity created more challenges and frustrations when people would test the limits. At least this provides clear expectations and they are up front about that in the interview process.

Wish I would have known sooner

Pros

When looking for a new job, I was very hesitant to apply to any position at Uline, as I had only ever heard negative things about the company. I eventually changed my mindset, thinking about how successful they are- they must be doing something right. Thankfully, I had a friend who worked there and I was able to ask her about all these "negative" things I had heard. She was able to discredit them or put them into context. With this new knowledge, I applied. Since starting within the past year, I can see the investment Uline makes in their employees and I now know what a good company it is to work for. My only regret is that I didn’t apply sooner.

Cons

Although a generous starting point, I do wish my past experience was taken into consideration when determining my PTO allowance.
