Pros

- Great facilities: Gym, running track, cafeteria, etc... - If you are not a detailed oriented person, YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO IN THIS COMPANY. - Uline is growing exponentially.

Cons

- Micromanagement is the business creed of this company. - Be aware if you are liberal/democratic. - For people that have a lot of experience working in other companies and join Uline, will find it very difficult to navigate. There is only the "Uline way" and nothing else is acceptable. For those people that think outside the box, don't waste your time applying for Uline.

Pros

Great pay, benefits and amenities at the Corporate office. The owners are very dedicated and work very hard

Cons

Depending upon the department, management is awful. Some departments have more rules than Nazi Germany. Big brother is ALWAYS watching. Managers are hired from the outside without a lick of management experience. Even with high turnover, HR complaints and bad exit interviews, somehow nothing is done about said management and leadership. Expect major micro management in certain departments and complete lack of trust of even veteran employees. Lack of opportunity and growth for individual employees. Title changes happen, but the actual responsibility does not.

Pros

Good hourly wage. Good bonuses. Mostly awesome coworkers and leads.

Cons

Upper management is an old boys and( girl) club, Major fear from most employees and low level management of the owner. "Undercover" racism. I worked with over 100 employees on 3rd shift and there was maybe 4 or 5minorities. 2 of which started as pickers and were quickly moved to sweeping floors. Non- stop finger pointing from management. Insane emails from management, usually scolding someone for something silly.
