Pros

Catered Lunches, Free Gym in Building, Benefits are okay.

Cons

I was told I would hate this job before I took it, I should have listened. They are so strict it's like you are still in school. You cannot use your phone, AT ALL. You get a strict hour lunch break, you're on the phone for 8 hours a day your first 6 months and then you get to answer emails after your probation period. No one likes their job and they record all of your calls and go over them. There is little to no room for growth at the company. You're literally just another number.

Pros

The yearly Profit sharing bonuses are nice.

Cons

Customer Service representatives are not allowed to be promoted or apply to any other internal roles. This is to combat the loss of employees fleeing. If you are looking at a position with Uline, Inquire about this! If they tell you it’s temporary or won’t apply to you, get it in writing (they won’t because they never put anything in writing that can come back to them) If that does not deter you… The current “firing freeze” should tell you everything you need to know. They are not firing any employees at this time because people are leaving as fast as they can. Don’t walk, run as far away from this place as you can. rather than listening to employees suggestions that they ask for, or listening to exit interview feedback, management takes the approach they know better. “Solutions” are always made that beat around the bush rather than addressing true issues (no work from home “ever again” per the owner, slave driver mentality, limited and timed breaks, lack of individuality). I myself have been interviewing elsewhere for months… as well as 3 other co-workers. And I’m sure we are not the only ones… applicant beware!!!

Pros

Pays well. Cafeteria is nice.

Cons

-Out-of-touch billionaire owner who funds terrible politicians and political groups who stormed the Capitol -Liz Uihlein's views on the world (marijuana, homeless people, politics) are stuck in the 1950s -Everyone's lives would be much easier if Liz stopped making maniacal and impulsive decisions that affect day-to-day life at Uline -Sexist dress code punishes female employees -Arbitrary company policies infantilize employees
