The turnover rate speaks in high volumes. A company where people are constantly quitting due to bad management and mistreatment should be a big warning sign. This company does not value their employees. This family owned company feels that if they pay their workers good, there is no reason why they should leave the company. Well, money can't keep us there. There are so many people that I know that has either given their 2-week notice or has quit right on the spot. There are always new faces that come and go. I have been with this company for over 7 years, so I have seen many changes within the company, yet no improvement employee appreciation.

The pay is good and the bonus is nice.

Cons

Where to start? Hours are bad. The managers actually hide in the aisles or follow you to try to catch you being "unsafe" but really have to meet their safety coaching quota. If they hear you are looking for a new job they will find a reason to fire you. Urine tests are often and especially right before the bonus which is pretty much the only good thing about the company.

Possibly the most horrid place to work in Wisconsin. If the idea of working for a horrible family interests you, sign up. Just take five minutes to read any of the "positive" reviews on Glassdoor and you'll immediately spot them as plants. It must be part of some marketing scheme. Ever wonder why they have so many positions open ALL THE TIME on the local Milwaukee job boards? It's because the turnover rate is so high. Everyone who has decided to make a career there must have very little self-esteem.

The Uihlein’s invest in the company’s success as well as the employee’s success. We do not force any of our employees to post a review. Uline is growing at a rapid pace. Recently, we expanded with five new locations adding four-million square feet.
