Pros

The stability of a large organization with a touch of family! I have been working with Uline for nearly 4 years and each year we grow but do not lose touch of our value system. We do indeed take great care in hiring the right fits for our organization and our goal is that each new hire spends their entire career growing and developing with us - this is my goal!

Cons

Candidly before I started I had to ask myself if I was comfortable with structure. However, now I find that the structure is there simply to allow me to focus on the big picture and to be creative. I am not bogged down with excessive emails or late night calls due to insufficient staffing or lack of depth within management - refreshing!

Pros

Great pay Good work life balance Great health, dental, life, etc. Fun co-workers Growing company Excellent leadership Onsite cafeteria Onsite workout facility with personal trainers Massage therapy and facials at reduced cost Hair salon on site Walking and running paths on campus Bonuses for all employees Matching 401 It is run efficiently and by strong leadership. The owners of the company are involved and here every day. They have successfully built this company to projected 4 billion dollars in sales this year, employing 5,000 people. They are doing it right. I see Liz all over the place, in meetings with different departments, on the walking paths with employees, she is very accessible to everyone.

Cons

People that don't work here always ask about the dress code, yes we have a corporate dress code, but honestly you get used to it and it's not that bad. You do notice people act more professionally and are more polite here. I don't know if that is because of the dress code or the culture. There is structure here, it is part of the reason of the success of the company. It is also hard to get in. You have to have a good employment history and do quite a few assessments and interviews to be considered.
