Pros

Great pay, very organized internship program. Got free tickets to box at Brewers game and also provided several catered luncheons for interns. Coworkers were all very welcoming and helpful, I developed great relationships in only a few short months.

Cons

Very strict dress code (skirt or pant suit, heels), high expectations, high stress. President is very opinionated and frankly, terrifying.. her way or the highway.

Summer Intern

Pros

paid for and found the housing for interns, plenty of social events for interns including multiple "lunch and learns" where the interns get a free lunch and someone from a department comes in and speaks so the interns can learn about other departments. Most people at the company seem to really enjoy it and stay for many years. Gym and locker room in the basement is free to use for employees. A highlight for all interns is the end of the summer when they get to have lunch with the president and CEO and talk about what they've been working on all summer.

Cons

the dress code is EXTREME. Women are not allowed to wear pants unless its part of a full matching pantsuit or a Friday. Dress length is strictly enforced, no maxis, shoes are strict. Men must wear dress pants, button down and tie monday-thursday and a polo and khakis on Friday. Men can wear boat shoes but women cannot on Friday. The culture is also extreme. You take a "Uline writing class" that teaches you the exact way you're expected to write all emails, memos, and powerpoints. Everyone starting at the President is micromanaged including having to clock in and out every day.
