Pros

Good hourly wage. Good bonuses. Mostly awesome coworkers and leads.

Cons

Upper management is an old boys and( girl) club, Major fear from most employees and low level management of the owner. "Undercover" racism. I worked with over 100 employees on 3rd shift and there was maybe 4 or 5minorities. 2 of which started as pickers and were quickly moved to sweeping floors. Non- stop finger pointing from management. Insane emails from management, usually scolding someone for something silly.

Excellent company to work for - I wish I had never left

Pros

Absolutely beautiful environment to work in with many perks available I was given the opportunity to come up with new ideas and process improvements for my department and when there was IT time available, I was allowed to work towards implementing and testing the improvement. The C-level and above were accessible and I was able to speak with them when necessary. The pay, bonuses, time off, health insurance, etc. were outstanding.

Cons

You can get pigeon-holed into a position. Work/Life balance was difficult in some areas of the company if you were a manager or higher. In my opinion, the company relies too much on scores during pre-employment testing. Unfortunately, many excellent candidates were never given the opportunity to move to the next stage in the hiring process because of a "wrong" score on a test.

Not a good place to work

Pros

There aren't many but the pay was competitive and the benefits were okay.

Cons

Stiff management, strict work environment. Not a very friendly place to work and no real chance for advancement. It's high-stress and there seems to be an almost adversarial relationship between workers and management. The dress code is ridiculous and old-fashioned. Females in the office are discouraged from wearing pants and if they do, it has to be a matching pantsuit with jacket and pants. No suit separates. If a dress or skirt is worn, pantyhose are required. Very strict about this. As I said, very old-fashioned. Even if you wear pants, you are supposed to at least wear knee-highs. No bare skin showing on legs or feet. It's surprising that heels aren't required too. I had to buy a new wardrobe when starting there full of pant suits. I despise wearing hose of any kind so I wore flats and really long pants so my shoes would be covered. I was even fussed at for having acrylic nails which I convinced them to le me keep. A strange out-dated work environment to say the least.
