Strange at best

Pros

Excellent pay & benefits Some amazing & talented peers

Cons

Zero work life balance. 52+hrs a week minimum and no work from home program allowed. More is never enough. Branch Managers are ridiculously lazy. Most ride the coat tails of direct reports, and present their hard work as their own. Shameless. A profound glass ceiling for women. No matter your education, success, or tenure, you are referred to as " the girls" or " my boys" by the owner. Belittled and emasculated at every turn. Exhausting for even the toughest of souls! Family balance is nonexistent for Managers. Pay is strong, but it becomes golden handcuffs and makes it very hard to find a new path if wanting to move on. Lastly, Uline stalks x- employees on Facebook & LinkedIn. Constantly trying to connect using fake accounts and contacts. It is very strange and bizarre!

Pros

Uline has great employees working here! Instead of worrying about how many people they need to cut each year, managers are focused on how many MORE people they need to hire. They keep the workload of everyone manageable, so that everyone can have a life outside of work. Some of the great benefits are as follows: -Competitive Salary -Competent work associates -Friendly and professional working atmosphere -Encourages employee growth (both leadership skills and technical skills) -Active sponsor in the community -On-site gym with trainers -Beautiful campus with outdoor walking paths

Cons

Healthcare - As with all insurance programs these days, monthly cost is high, deductibles are high, and out-of-pocket max is high. I really hope things can go back to how they were prior Obamacare era. Work Hours - Not all positions are the ideal 8-4:30. Warehouse employees work difficult hours that don't allow a lot of family time in the evening on weekdays. For office positions, a majority of the time work hours are ideal. Managers - As with all companies, there are some managers that have a deep "Red" personality, and they don't encourage utilizing each employee to their maximum potential. Having said that, probably 90%+ of the managers are incredible! (friendly, motivating, and give their team credit where deserved)
