Significant pto is alotted to offset step system county salaries. Benefits are excellent. Many truly good people work here. The campus is naturally beautiful.

The staff and faculty at the institution are mostly kind and friendly. This includes to each other and to students.

- There is constant friction between the executive leadership of the college and the needs of employees and students - Salaries for union positions are very low

SUNY Ulster is blessed with amazing staff and faculty. Your colleagues will be wonderful people to work with. Excellent benefits and time off.

Cons

Minimal training if any. Smaller employer so there won't be as many opportunities but that is typical for a small empoyer.
