Pros

Lots of freedom, and you get very familiar with retail product lifecycles and trends which can help designer, buyers, category managers

Cons

Bad management. Experience is not valued. You will be treated unfairly due in large parts to management playing favorites. Lots of turnover.

Pros

- they fire without cause and usually its because they dont like you - they are constantly being sued for wrongful dismissal - then after the ex employee wins the lawsuit, they'll put their lawyer on retainer so other ex employees who were fired the same way cant use them. - 90% of management are horrible people (you know who you are)

Cons

they have a kitchen and the food is good they have a gym

Pros

The employees are fantastic and there is a real sense of community amount them.

Cons

Compensation is below industry standards and the owner is very clear that he has not intention to change that. He compared his employees to fast fashion, cheap and disposable.
