      Pros

      Umbra is a really great place to start your career. Filled with young talent who are hungry to learn and create, Umbra has no shortage of inspiration. The people are what makes Umbra an amazing place to work and that is due to the company culture.

      Cons

      Umbra is a global company with the mentality of a mom-n-pop shop. It has the ability to be much bigger and influential than it is.

      Pros

      I think the people leaving negative reviews are mostly fresh grads who have never worked anywhere else. Grass is always greener syndrome. Everywhere is busy. I ha e had FAR worse professional experiences.... Ive worked in-house and agency side and I can say Umbra is a great place to work. Subsidized lunches, great discount on great product, amazing coworkers and the chance to work for a privately owned Canadian company.

      Cons

      Head office is in Scarborough, so if you don't like to commute, not for you. Getting time with the executive team is a little tough, as they are very busy.

      Subsidized food Nice kitchen Friendly staff Can be fun at times

      Cons

      Pretty stressful work environment, sometimes a bit shady. I didn't see much potential for growth but its a decent company for new grads. Very large turn over rate as well.
