Pros

Nothing -- even the employee discount was bad and very poor product quality! Everything is plastic or plastic lookalike!

Cons

Everything - forced to work overtime without OT pay. Even HR looked down at you if you left on time or worked from home because of a snow storm or the pandemic! Only way to get ahead or a raise is if the exec team or owner likes you. If they call you, run and run as fast as you can!

Pros

Close to Durham region and the 401 in Scarborough. Free parking. The chef and some of the people there are genuinely nice.

Cons

The critical reviews from others are accurate. There is a reason why this place is always hiring, it is a very high turnover environment. I would not recommend this place for anyone with experience and if you are just starting out, maybe try it out for a year for your resume (I would keep looking). I can confirm: Minimal to no process, everything is basically on the fly or ad hoc (this is what they call "entrepreneurial"). High school like environment and not a good one! Lots of gossip and behind the back throwing people under the bus. Management (especially middle managers) are inexperienced at leading or coaching. Revolving door, most of the people there at the time I worked there were only there for 1-3 years. This is telling enough.

Pros

I think it is a good place for interns or recent grads to cut their teeth...then move on quickly...

Cons

They look for quantity over quality...if they see quality they try to find a way to 'steal' the design and re-use it without paying for it. They have a terrible reputation with outside designers for their dishonesty and only being concerned with perception to the outside world. They like to latch on to young, hip talent at all costs.
