Thank you for your review. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed working with members of our team and under Dave, our CEO and founder. I'm disappointed to hear that our pay didn't seem appropriate for the work you contributed to our team. As we advocate for higher minimum wages, we strive to practice what we preach in terms of paying our team higher wages, with an 'uncommon' minimum wage that far exceeds the state requirements. We are focused on constantly learning and I'm curious about where you felt we fell short in terms of management skills. If you would like to speak to me about this, please reach out to me via email at scullen@uncommongoods.com. Best, Sean

Pros

If you work hard, you can definitely get more hours, which is really appreciated.

Cons

Oh if only they spent so much time monitoring pot usage as they do cellphone usage! Half the part-time staff reeks of pot - especially those in the warehouse - it is no wonder so many customers complained about their orders arriving damaged and smashed, or sent to wrong addresses with bad personalization. A part-time manager even said to me "I like working here, there is no drug testing for us seasonal guys", so if you are not a stoner you may not like the place.

Firstly, thank you for your hard work in helping our customers throughout the season. If you are currently looking for a new role, I’d be happy to help you learn about opportunities for work in surrounding neighborhoods. I’d like to hear about the areas where you see that we can improve (you can reach me by email at scullen@uncommongoods.com). Our Tech Team is always working hard to deploy new equipment to ensure our team has up to date resources (including some exciting new upgrades for the 2018 season). Please also be aware that we have a drug and alcohol-free workplace and a safety policy that focuses on our commitment to protecting the safety, health, and well-being of all team members and other individuals at UncommonGoods. Our policies were established to balance our respect for individuals, maintain a safe work environment, and achieve our organization goals. Team members who violate this policy are be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Best, Sean
