Pros

Even with my uncertainties about the boss, I can say that the company's salary was average. It wasn't exceptional or standout, but it was sufficient to meet my financial needs.

Cons

The boss nonsensical decision-making and lack of direction turned what could have been a promising opportunity into a nightmare. Instead of providing clear guidance and support, the boss seemed more interested in exerting his authority and displaying his own importance. His actions reflected a clear shortcoming in his leadership skills, as he lacked the ability to make rational decisions and prioritize the team's objectives.

This feedback is completely concocted. We got two reviews in a month supposedly from a web team member when we haven't lost anyone at all. Glassdoor allows anyone to post on the site, and they don't have to have verifiably worked at the company they are reviewing.

Pros

Ummm… they pay on time? (For now!)

Cons

Notice a trend here? An ex employee leaves an honest review and the president/owner does one of a few things. If he doesn’t force Glassdoor to take the review down, he either blames the former employee for not being a “good cultural fit” or offers to have a conversation about to the review after the fact. Why wasn’t there an exit interview? As an ex-employee, I can honestly say it’s because they couldn’t care less about their employees. This company has a perpetual revolving door because there is 0 training and they constantly focus on what everyone is doing wrong instead of speaking to what is done right and executing on a plan to improve what needs it most. Their value “dive in and swim” is a sugar-coated way of saying “your job description means nothing. Learn to do what we want you to do on your own with 0 training”. Another trend to notice here is the positive reviews from current employees always come after a couple bad reviews from ex-employees. Coincidence? You decide. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews from formal employees, those are the only honest ones not meant as a distraction from the truth. Also look the company up on LinkedIn and notice the average length of employment. If you care about your sanity, don’t apply. If you need work, you’d be happier in retail or even fast food.

We have an HR department called Employee Success that focuses on training, onboarding, synthesizing employee feedback, cultural development, quarterly reviews, manager development, and more. Managers and team leaders are continuously improving their team's training programs and processes based on employee and customer feedback. We currently have a group of over 100 amazing employees as well as contractors working on our team. While we have hired a lot of bright, new people during our growth since the onset of Covid, our average tenure is 4 years, and we have quite a few team members who have been with the company for much longer (up to 28 years). We celebrate our 40th anniversary this year. While we are pained to read negative reviews, we are a very open and transparent company, and we encourage anyone concerned about these reviews to meet as many of our new and longer-term folks as possible to get a feel for our culture and the general level of happiness in the company.

Thank you for the feedback. We agree, our team is friendly! We follow industry pay standards for each role, while carefully considering a candidate's experience level and salary requirements whenever making an employment offer. We are continually improving our management processes and are proud of the comfort level between leadership and their team members, who openly share feedback.
