Pros

Good benefits, health insurance Job security Decent wages

Cons

Some promotions are based more on who you know rather than ability. Some executive management are afraid to get their hands dirty and therefore remain out of touch with their employees as a whole.

Pros

Reasonable base salary, a pension plan, decent health benefits, and it has a reasonable workload expectation. There is not a lot of turnover.

Cons

There is minimal opportunity for advancement. Managers don't care about your future. They just want you to stay in your position forever to support them. Technology is outdated. Financial systems are awful to work with.
