Pros

You get to work with trains.

Cons

Three days off within a month or so and you are fired. 28 point system. Forced moves dependent on seniority. Hired for one location then forced moved to another. First month denied hotel coverage. Would not give time off more than two days to move the family of six.

Pros

Good pay, decent health insurance

Cons

Corporate greed, shareholder greed, profit above employees, unwilling to profit share, loves to brag about record breaking quarterly profits, gives you one foot and takes five feet back.

Pros

The retirement and health insurance are really good.

Cons

You are just a number and the company likes to remind you that you can be replaced at a moment's notice. Management is rough because they are also treated the same but have no union protection.
