Pros

There is lots of room for growth and employees are constantly encouraged to reach out for leadership positions. Also, lots of people are retiring, which will make even more room to move ahead. The company's health is great and they are always attempting to utilize different ways to improve the business. They are also employee groups like those for various ethnic groups and newer employees (1-5 years). And if you love trains, you'll fit right in.

Cons

People seem to live for their work and while they talk about their families and such, work is often number one. Depending on your team, managers can be stubborn about vacation since it is the norm to horde vacation time. So the work/life balance can be a little work-heavy.

Pros

* Excellent salary * Tremendous benefits * Reasonably priced daycare near HQ building * Career opportunities in EVERY department

Cons

Not many - the company is fair to those who work hard and produce results. I haven't seen much in the way of politics or unfair practices, either.
