Pros

It provided a steady income for a while. It also provided good professional training, decent benefits, vacattion and personal time off.

Cons

Old school management is still entrenched. Unisys is like a congolmerete of a dozen different companies. It is managment heavy, cubersome to deal with and still is stuck to a certain degree in the past. The work atmosphere is like being at a wake. No buzz or excitement. It was depressing to go to a partner meeting (with companies like EMC, etc) and feel the energy the exuded which contrasted so much so it was palatable. Constantly being forced to give up benefits, pay because "there was no money in the bucket" greww tiresome. As id surviving numerous company transformations and changes in direction that were truly little more than marketing gimics. Nothing changed internally.

Pros

It is a good place to start your career here if you do not have ideas about your future plans. You can learn lots of things, also using your languages is important. Here you can do it. It is located in the heart of Budapest, which is also OK.

Cons

Too much pressure on the agents, supervisors do not communicate with the employees (do not even greet them sometimes) unless there is a deep friendship. Some accounts have really useless, terrible procedures. It is very phone based, there are strict break regulations (30 min lunch break, 60 min short break). The largest problem is that in some positions they have very incompetent people (Subject Matter Experts for example). It is hard to get to a higher position - sometimes the internal job postings are mailed to everyone but the position itself has already been filled...so they have chosen the one.
