      Unisys India : Not a place for Software Developers

      Pros

      In my 2 years of career in Unisys i have not seen any extraordinary pros which can be mentioned here. As a part of software development team this is not a right place to be in.

      Cons

      1. Work is repetitive in nature. 2. 45 hours a week login. 3. Bad transportation Management. 4. Higher management is pathetic. 5 Lacking in availability of resources. 6. almost each and every site is firewall blocked in fact technical problem discussion forums also blocked. 7. company has no defined goals. 8. HR practices is useless. No one listens.

      Pros

      As per me its a good company where you can learn and get proper help from senior. They specialized in good areas like security management system, air core management system, mobility etc.

      Cons

      Design quality is not good. I think they should take it seriously to increase the quality as they are good in development. In Indian market many CMM5 companies has put extra concentration on quality.
