Pros

Each agent is granted lots of liberty and is provided all the necessary tools to make the workplace comfortable. Supervisors are great. A Technical Support Representative at Unisys is a good place to begin your information technology career. There is a lot of experience to be gained and opportunities for advancement. I am a college student and am gaining valuable skills and experience working part-time at Unisys.

Cons

It is much harder for After Hours agents to advance in the company. Starting pay for agents is not as high as other locations in the area.

Pros

Engineering organization full of talented people producing leading edge solutions. Great opportunities for enhancing skill-set. Recognition for top innovators. Flex-time and telecommuting supported.

Cons

Salaries below market reference points due to multiple years of wage freezes and token increases. Great products that nobody knows about due to inept marketing strategies. Job security non-existent. Layoffs an annual event.

Pros

Flexible work hours - It is not a problem if I need to leave early or come in later for an appointment. I am happy to see the new emphasis on global culture.

Cons

1)The workload continues to increase but the pay does not. 2) No room for advancement. 3)Outsourcing US jobs to Bangalore is priority. 4)There is a lot of finger pointing when things go wrong and not enough accountability.
