Pros

Supposedly residuals of up to $100,000 could be earned.

Cons

As a new agent to UA, you are asked to pay a fee to work there. There is no base salary. You are only paid if you sell policies. The company does not have a good culture. A member of management harasses based on gender and race.

Pros

... It was a job.

Cons

Far too many to list, but I will begin with it doesn't pay well, disrespectful environment (one manager screamed and yelled at me), they don't value your work, performance reviews are a joke, unrealistic timelines for projects, and the sexual harassment was more pervasive than working in the service industry as a waitress.
