Pros

There are very smart, hardworking people at UBC. They care very much about the science, their clients and the company. UBC is working very hard to make the working environment a balanced and rewarding place. The organization's new CEO is Robert Epstein - an MD, who is also a very visionary leader excited to make UBC a great place.

Cons

The company is undergoing a lot of changes on every level - from leadership, to benefits, to job design to compensation. We need employees who can be flexible and are willing to help push the organization forward.

Pros

Only positive is some nice coworkers

Cons

Job totally different than what is portrayed in the interviews. Job description, management, and salary changes shortly after started. No upper management support for what is needed to get the job done (despite what they say in the interviews). Upper Management takes credit for the work of others. Direct retaliation when several employees go to HR or managers with feedback of no support from upper management. Company structure set employees up for failure before you even start and will sabotage your career.

Pros

Only positive is some nice coworkers

Cons

No feedback about job performance. They set you up for failure before you even begin with no support from upper management for what you need to get the job done. Position not as portrayed in interviews, management changed, job description changed, salary changed shortly after starting. Work not recognized. Senior management takes credit for the everyone's work internally and to client. Any effort to escalate issues or request support to get what need to do the job ends in direct retaliation from the upper management member not doing theirs. This feedback is consistent among all PMs and people in other departments as well. Advice to anyone looking at this company - don't. They misrepresent the job and company in interviews and will sabotage your career.
