Pros

Good wages, limited but reasonable benefits. Most departments have a family atmosphere, and have a wealth of knowledge. Hold several team building activities throughout the year such as holiday meals, and picnics. CEO is engaged with staff members often knowing them by name. Excellent availability to high end services and equipment.

Cons

Few influential individuals in control of organization using it for their personal agenda. Senior management has been ineffective in mitigating their impact, as all information is filtered or individuals are intimidated by these individuals. Advancement comes based on ability to conform, shelve knowledge, moral integrity, accept duel standards and ability to support the controlling individuals agenda.
