•Lots of extra shifts to pick up •Meaningful relationships/ feeling of value in the work you’re doing with the residents •Flexible schedule

Cons

•Overall negative atmosphere; Admin encourages other staff to report each other/ get them in trouble •Rules/ policies implemented with no follow through or structure •Admin is not helpful and never around to support mileu staff •Bureaucratic at the detriment of the residents •No supplies; you will end up buying things out of pocket •No accountability, or responsibility for the lack of organization within the suites or during a crisis situation •Huge diversity issue when comparing mileu staff to residents, and mileu staff to admin
