Pros

The training, the pay, working as part of the shuttle team.

Cons

The people. After layoffs, ( to each his own ) no lasting connection with former coworkers.

Great Place To Work

Pros

Flexible everything - no hassles about time schedules, dress codes, whatever. Management very understanding, as long as your time is accurately recorded each day, you're good. The work environment is very conducive to focusing on the job in a relaxed, productive team-oriented manner.

Cons

"Continuing Process Improvement" means the paperwork gets redesigned every year, but there's no change in the actual software development life cycle since time began.

Pros

I had great management who supported flexible hours. Work was plentiful and required overtime on occasion. Salary and benefits were superior. Wish I was still there.

Cons

Company started closing after last USA shuttle flight.
