Pros

Great place to get warehouse experience. If you get hired on you get great benefits, health, dental, 401k. Great direct supervision team.

Cons

I used to work in the Fresno warehouse. The Warehouse Managinging team and I did not get along too well. They wouldn't treat the Veteran crew members well. There was a lot of individualzed indirect picking on of the employees. More so if you didn't agree with them and if you weren't one of their minions kissing their butt. I did not agree with the way they would single out and treat some of the employees (myself included). I was vocal about it, in a professional way. I injured myself on the job and was bullied to not use workermans Comp. and I wasn't the only was who had been injured on the job that was bullied. Illagle what they did, yes it was. I didn't want to go through with all the stress of a lawsuit, so I just let it go.

Pros

Easy to learn the routine, easy work. As long as u learn the product and know where it belongs, you'll be fine.

Cons

You need to stay on management, they don't communicate with HR. I got let go because of it. At times it feels unorganized.

In the middle somewhere...

Pros

Steady work. Decent pay. Nothing to physically demanding on a day to day basis. It's the kind of company where the job doesn't really change much day to day. Management, training, and just general work environment is somewhere in the middle. Nothing great, but not bad either.

Cons

Very hard to use your vacation days as they refused to allow people more than 2 days off at a time, even during slow periods. This was not policy, but just their practice. Long hours, especially on the night shift. It was normal to work 15 hours on Friday nights, then get pressured to 'volunteer' for the Saturday shift that started 6 hours later. The work enviroment is tough, but it is a cold storage company so there really is no way around that.
