Great Employee Benefits! Education Reimbursement Plan is the best I have ever seen. I learned a lot working for UTC Internal Audit Department. Management at UTC is very competent. I would recommend UTC to recent grades as well as experienced hires.

Cons

Age is definitely respected in promotion consideration for manager level and above. Very competitive hiring process and credentials may be more important that experience.

Pros

UTC has a great long term benefits program and its wide range of products and services provides a stable career if you are willing to relocate.

Cons

Publicly traded company is always looking for more to meet Wall Street Expectations. However, when you provide more, the top performers are not properly rewarded or provided with career development opportunities. It may be you are just a "number" when it comes to compensation. Management is competent and stock will do well, but it you are the top of your trade, you may do better with a competitor company or another industry.

the place is nice to work and the education benefits are good. the culture is also pretty good at most loactions

Cons

the pay scale is pretty poor and a lot of people leave after getting degrees, the benifits could use some upgrades
