Some really smart and dedicated colleagues

Cons

Lack of leadership. Cult of personality/butt kissing/ queen bee mentality towards the new CEO Williams. Fundraisers treated poorly, no support from Finance or MarComms. Local UWs are indifferent to hostile towards UWW staff. A total train wreck. Think Titanic.

United Way of Rockbridge (UWR) is a fundraising and facilitating organization that provides funding and services to local non-profits in a rural, small-town location. UWR that supports more than 15 local non-profit organizations that support the at risk population. Very high work satisfaction in making a difference. Opportunity to be creative.

Cons

Only one staff member where there should be at least three for the workload involved, low salary, no benefits.
