Pros

You will get to work with great kids. Outreach and networking with local schools and programs is a big plus.

Cons

Management is really bad -- Managers can be unprofessional, condescending, and flat out dishonest. Bonuses were promised but never paid, more than once... Salary is good for the Summer Camp but subpar for afterschool programs. There is no incentive or loyalty based pay raises.

Pros

You learn how to find your own community resource's.

Cons

ManagResources. The Database is so outdated most Agencies call to complain about providing their information. They promise people roles before they are even put up for other employee's. They do not fix mismanagement. They have the underdogs do the work while higher ups are completely gone. No where to be found. Management talks bad about outside agencies to employee's. They take money from one program and use it for other. Managers make 3x the salary of employee's. HR and the president make promises of higher pay, then tell employee's how poor their performance is yearly as an entire agency threat.
