Pros

United Way offers you opportunities to wear many different hats, work out in the community and network. There were several employees who are no longer with the United Way that had great passion and had built strong relationships with other non-profits.

Cons

This United Way had a very hierarchical working environment. Many of the employees had been there for a lengthy amount of time and were pretty rude and uninterested in collaborating and mentoring new employees. The pay was under average as well.
