Pros

United Way Bay Area is a great place for a new grad looking to learn some skills. There is a heavy focus on DEI and they are a really dedicated to it and it’s highlighted and every single organization wide meeting.

Cons

The compensation packages at United Way Bay Area are a little to be desired in a world of inflation. Additionally, because it is a nonprofit there is this expectation of working more and harder for no additional monetary gain. The worklife balance at UWBA can be a bit tough to maintain.
