Pros

In general, the work offers the community opportunities to "advance the common good." Most of the relationships are positive within the organization. Typically, most of the staff are competent and innovative.

Cons

Lack of planning, poor internal communications, some executives are given privileges, overworked, under compensated, never say no to new work, little consideration of resources vs. new work.

Pros

remarkable access to senior managerment. if you have a question, getting an answer is as simple as walking to the next door or cubicle and finding a solution hard work is rewarded. whenever you or a colleague meets a goal or accomplishes something huge, there is a concerted effort to offer immediate recognition and praise company wide satisfying experiences when working with clients/community members. because of the nature of the business, there is an opportunity to interact with various people/groups during your everyday course of work. no situation is unique and coming up with ways to better the lives of fellow philadelphia citizens is very very gratifying

Cons

very heavy workload especially during peak season
