There are Politics like every company. If you give your best everyday, you hope that good things happen to you. It's a Corporate environment although non-profit.

Pros

I worked with some amazing people and made some great connections . United Way was the best place I've ever worked. I was able to take on projects and learn a lot

Cons

Campaign can be a little disorganized and last minute . Some organizations are still going by an old model for raising funds and need to be a little more innovative
