Pros

I learned so much interning at UWDC! It was hard handling multiple projects at once, but it's honestly helped me manage my time much better

Cons

The internship was not paid.

Pros

Lots of great events. Lots of great apples as well; despite the cons, there are people here who actually care about the people they serve. And are actually kind, moral individuals in real life

Cons

You think working in this industry is about altruism and helping people... I quickly learned how detached work culture can get from the core values of the industry. It's really sad how normalized gossiping behind co-workers' backs has become. Witnessing/knowing it was happening--about me even--broke my heart.
