Pros

You do have the opportunity to learn many new skills because you are required to do so many things without proper training and you have to figure out how to get this done.

Cons

The management. They are dishonest, disrespectful, unethical, have no value to the customers much less employees. It was very challenging working for a company knowing they were violating laws and regulations that impacted consumers but yet if you made mention of this you were in jeopardy of losing your job, reassigned to work as a "punishment" for speaking out, degraded and humiliated to your peers by management.

Pros

UHG/UHC is flexible with employee work hours and allows employees to work remotely (from home). It's great to be able to flex your schedule around rush hour and work from home as needed.

Cons

1) Communication within the company is poor. Senior management tries to give the "appearance" of communication, but there is no trickle down of communication by department management. 2) Employees are not valued-they are treated like a commodity. Creativity and competency are not encouraged. 3) The company's ethics are questionable.

Pros

If you just need a job, you can make enough to make ends meet.

Cons

Micromanagement, lack of communication between departments, lack of communication between management/corporate and the little people, smart at finding new ways to screw you over and keep commissions, unfair/unlawful business practices, poor decision-making from corporate/upper management, total disregard for well-being of employees, hires many employees lacking job skills/people skills/professionalism/critical thinking skills
