Pros

For me it was the ability to work in a home-based (telecommuting) position. Being part of a large company probably helps for benefits.

Cons

Large company structure--and your place in it--is difficult to understand. My company is owned by a company that is owned by UHG. Also, surprisingly, the health benefits aren't great--but premiums are low.

Pros

I really enjoyed my time at UnitedHealth Group. The trainers were very knowledgeable and were always there to answer any questions that I had. I worked as a Claims Associate for just a few short months before being promoted to another department. I then went on to work from home!! Only left this company because of personal issues not related to my job. Great place to work!

Cons

The only con was that it was pretty difficult for me to attain a position with this company. I applied at least five different times over the course of several years before I was finally given an opportunity to interview. Once I had my interview, it was smooth sailing but it just took a while to finally get to that point.
