Frequent layoffs create uncertainty for many roles

Management both at a company level and department level seems like a constant game of musical chairs with new people coming in and things changing/them leaving before there's really time for their ideas to be implemented, team priorities in general change fast because of these frequent shifts in leadership Company is notorious for layoffs and your position is never very safe, people like to talk about big companies being more stable in terms of job security etc. but that doesn't seem to be the case here, they also like to hype up RSUs as one of their big benefits and things you get but you completely lose them if you're laid off before you vest Lower level/early career salaries aren't great for working at a fortune 5 company and their raise/promotion structure makes it really hard to get your salary up as your career progresses in many cases Health insurance is ironically bad and benefits aren't good other than PTO
