Unity College is breaking away from traditional higher education to focus on access, flexibility, and affordability for students from all walks of life. If you believe higher education should be an option of anyone who wants it, Unity College is a great place to work. There are no silos in this matrix organization, and we know that the best work happens when we are put in the position to think differently rather than maintain the status quo. As a young professional, I have grown substantially since coming to Unity College, having held a variety of positions and knowing that there is always opportunity for advancement. I have met some incredible professionals here, and know that the folks here are dedicated to advancing the College's mission.
Cons
As someone who has only been at Unity College for about three years, I know there is a lot of history that I am not privy to. Unfortunately, it seems there are folks who are holding on to the way Unity College once was rather than embracing what it is becoming which can cause friction. As someone fairly new to the organization from a historical standpoint who is focused on the future of the College, this can be frustrating. If you are not a person who can get onboard with change at a quick pace, Unity College may not be the place for you.
