Great team collaboration, supportive culture, and a positive work environment. Strong training and mentorship opportunities help employees grow professionally. Employees are empowered to contribute ideas and make a real impact on the business, creating a sense of ownership and purpose.
Cons
I have not identified any major areas of concern so far. The company has provided a positive work environment, strong support, and opportunities for growth.
Executive Management truly focuses on trying to make each individual valued.
They are constantly trying to improve the company. Since I started they have improved the benefits including insurance offerings and increasing PTO. They are also wonderful in that whenever the Federal Government gives their employees a surprise day off, UnityTec gives it as well.
Joe and Lesley also look to help employees grow professionally and invest in their professional development. For example, they have paid for a LSS Green Belt class twice and put 20ish employees through each time.
If employees want to move to a new contract or go on contract it is always an option. Current employees are always looked at in relation to new opportunities to see if any would want a change of scenery.
Where they can they also provide a highly flexible work schedule so long as employees put in the requisite hours per pay period.
Cons
Sometimes based upon the contracts that UnityTec has individuals get frustrated about compensation. But it takes aggressive pricing strategies to win.
