      -Work & Life Balance -Opportunity to stretch yourself in multiple areas as you will wear many hats -Business will not understand your IT initiatives so you can run with your own -The right people can assist with a lengthy systems modernization and be a hero

      Cons

      -Limited corporate culture to apply to daily work -Technology is seen as a cost center -Silos mean other teams may also be working on similar items -IT Leadership juggling aging systems while not getting ready for new technologies and techniques

      My manager tended to leave me out of conversations when I was the one who brought up a concern, leaving my concern unanswered and when I follow up I would get looked negatively.
