      Pros

      Privately held, independent work environment, nice working conditions, good hours, and decent pay. Secure environment, plenty of company functions and celebrations. Open door policy.

      Cons

      Business down turn resulting in layoffs and moral issues. New managerial philosophy away from people focused. Job security not what it was in the past. Big wigs get lots of perks with no significant increases for workers.

      Pros

      A lot of hard working people in the trenches trying to do a good job and some interesting technology. Nice facility but it's at least half empty.

      Cons

      Upper management has no vision and is just skating by. When it was pointed out that there were numerous inter-facility communications problems and poor middle managers they developed "1000 Days to 1 Universal." It took them a year to come up with some useless flash cards and a management retreat to make a slight change to the company motto. They couldn't even do that on their own, they had to hire a consultant.
