Cons
Consumer Insights at Florida is to be avoided. Management finds ways to write you up in the name of quality of survey, nor will theyeducatee. They never stay longer than 20 minutes on the field because the heat is too much or they fear the team changing behavior which causes a drop in the completed surveys.. Management instead delegates micromanagment observation sheets to there leads so they can do work in the office where it is nice and cool with clean break areas and bathrooms. while their team struggle to find Ac or seats in break areas through the park that are dirty. Not to forget the risk of death or permanent illness thanks to COVID. They come out give cold popsicles, towels and water. Ultimately they do not supervise anything leaving it up to coordinator and leads walking away feeling they did some real work, When you complain or vent they tell you stories of how bad it used to be way back when to disregard implementation of any new ideas or use upper management to say how slow they change things.. If you don't walk talk or behave a certain way and you have ethnic behavior or accents do not expect to be promoted unless you can erase your accent or behave cold and robotic.. Plus so many go to HR and nothing changes. Guest abuse Consumer insight on the field and hate doing surveys because of how the team is trained to trick the guest into a survey at the gate to meet quotas that are fluctuated to meet the mood of management. Over sampling is rampid with guest avoiding you the moment they see you in other projects that are not at the gate. Posts of humiliation are made on Social Meda about the team.. Threats of assault are never dealt with because once they tell a security guard the guest is gone. The PTSD you will get will prevent you from hitting quota over time. The different types of rejection slowly erode the soul of all who enter this department yet unifies those who stay to not be allowed to move up if they speak up or say anything. Many have put in years and have been promoted to hit a glass ceiling they have gone through 1000 employees in a 10 year history and say it's not for everyone to excuse the fact quotas and environment is hostile, harsh and unrealistic. You won't get fired for not getting quota but it will stop progress and movement of your career and over time the PTSD kills the joy of working at the parks. In Less than 5 months most hate it here. Lots of better areas to work in this company. Avoid at all cost worst decision ever made was to work here.
