Pros

Small classes, they give you the materials to be used in class. Leave early, free Fridays.

Cons

Terrible management, they have not clue about a good leadership. They bombard you with emails of all sorts. If there is any complaint from a student, you will be fired since they go the side of administrators for whom you are not a teacher but a contractor. This is a temporary job to pay bills till you get a real, decent job.

Pros

Small class size, they pay on time. Do not work on Friday.

Cons

I do not recommend working for this company. Firstly, they have a history of not treating their employees with respect. When conflicts arise, the client is treated with greater preference than the employee, often to a very detrimental degree. Additionally, communication is either excessive or non-existent, frequently given with a tone of urgency that keeps teachers from feeling confident in their roles. The company in itself is not on the same page with each other, from one level to the next, so it often leaves the employee confused as to what directive to listen to. The culture is fear-filled and guilt-driven. *It's not an ideal place to flourish.* Finally, renewed work is not guaranteed, and offers are only given within weeks of the school year start.

Pros

Salary Work-life balance Relationships with the kids Thorough professional development Good mission and values

Cons

Disorganized and dishonest. Managers take forever to get back to you when you have time sensitive issues but demand instantaneous responses. Micromanagement over everything that doesn't matter. Some people do nothing and collect the same paychecks as those who work insanely hard. Those who break rules see no penalties and those who work receive no incentive. All these same people working for the same company but with wildly different contracts and none of it is explained and little help. Payroll department is an unreachable mess as is HR. No opportunities for advancement--if you start as an instructor, they will never look at you for management.
