Pros
Great insurance, nice facility, good cafe.
Cons
Training was not long enough before you are put on the floor with a full case load. Director didn't even try to help when i didn't understand anything. He would ask the same 3 questions in every meeting. Didn't know how to lead a team. The training was 12 months long, everyone I spoke with told me it took a full 12 months to learn the job. But after 3 months they told me I wasn't retaining the information at the rate they expected by that time. The director told me I could resign or wait for 2 weeks to try and learn more, which he told me i couldn't do. If did the additional training and still didn't know the information by then they would terminate me. I agreed to resign and then i was told by HR they were terminating me and I was have a termination status on my record. You always had to work over time just to maintain your claims, being paid salary. There's no work life balance, like they claim to have. You think the pay is good, till you see how much your work load is. They could easily spread one persons work to 2-3 people. Way to much work! Very complex job that is an entry level position. You really do need some kind of medical or insurance experience before going into this job.
