Not Much Opportunity Yet It's Income
Pros
We are located in the heart of the peninsula of San Mateo, nearby the freeway and public transportation. The company it self is located in one newest commercial building so it has the open space working environment. They have unlimited snacks and drinks. There is daily lunches if you are working onsite. The perks are the health, dental, and 401k benefits. The opportunity of working at fintech corporate looks good on the resume.
Cons
No growth within the company even with the internal posting the requirement is very limited to apply. The job tasks is varies and has been transition numerous since I've been with the company. The hourly rate is the same amount as if you working at local fast food. The work environment is very toxic with micromanagement style. We are on set schedule, required to be onsite, and on limited lunchtime. The effort of work put into this job is oversee by the management that you are not valued most of the time. Even though its a start tech environment it is very much corporate world where is transition between management and team is all divided.
