Great tutoring gig position with responsive management

Pros

-Well-designed platform -Totally remote work - The admin are responsive and helpful -Option to do Async tutoring, which is even more flexible

Cons

-Pay is just okay, though the platform and infrastructure are already in place and you don't need to do much prep. -Inconsistent work-- sometimes work comes in "surges" at particular times of year, with long dry spells during vacations -Not much possibility for advancement.

Pros

Employees are given autonomy to lead projects and take measures risks. Everyone is passionate about educational equity and making a difference.

Cons

Everyone is taking on a lot of work, which can lead to some stressful times. Appreciate the mental health days offered though!

Dedicated individuals working to create equity in higher education through online tutoring for underrepresented students.

Cons

Siloed day-to-day organizational structure that led to departments working on competing priorities. Overly transparent on smaller items, but not on the bigger ticket decisions. Very little room for meaningful feedback.
