Pros
It was cool to work with the defense industry.
Cons
They approached me from a previous employer and offered me a great deal. They nearly doubled my rate. That being said, they consistently over hire for new engagements. I was only there 6 months and survived 2 rounds of layoffs before getting hit. After leaving and meeting others who have experienced Uptake's trends, this was not an isolated experience.
