Pros

This is an exciting time at Utz, a growing company, who is innovative, growing with the times and the market, in constant evaluation of where we should be and where we are going! We are still a lean company and with us going public a few years ago, we are in growth and transition mode, but all the teams are growing financially and we are adding continuing to add headcount. We also promote from within whenever we can, which I love to see. There are a lot of changes happening, so people do need to be agile and comfortable with change when working at Utz. We are a lean company, so everyone works hard, but there is still work life balance. We offer a profit sharing plan, tuition reimbursement program, bonus program, employee stock purchase program, a good 401k match, paternal bonding leave, and many other perks, and depending on the roles, the ability to work remotely and hybrid. Also, another positive thing is that the company is very engaged with the local Hanover, PA community and it's impressive to see. They truly care about their employees and their families, with a healthcare clinic and gym onsite in Hanover. They are even getting more involved in the local communities where our manufacturing plants are located as well. Excellent tenure within the company as well, some employees with over 40 years!

Cons

Could use a better PTO/vacation plan for the non-exempt employees starting out, but they do earn more time with tenure. Not a bad, thing, but working at Utz does require you to be agile and comfortable with change, everyone works hard and we are all trying to meet our goals.

Pros

The tasks aren’t overly hard if you had up to date technology.

Cons

Using 90’s technology trying to compete in 2025. They also took away a path of advancement for frontline people with new restructure.
