Pros

Quality products. Profit sharing. Paid holidays. Sundays off.

Cons

Utz carries a lot of products. It's sometimes overwhelming trying to keep up with the changes.

Pros

A small to mid-level company, Utz has ample growth potential for both the company and the associate. A financially sound, multi-regional market leader, reinvesting in the company and employees for opportunity and expansion is driving the growth and market position, as well as creating stability for other companies in financial or competitive duress that they have been able to purchase over the last 5-7 years. UQF is a fourth generation, family-owned company that is placing enormous investment and programs for personnel development to help launch it to the next level in gross product sales and national corporate coverage. UQF provides a platform for any career-minded, progressive thinking individual who doesn't mind starting in entry level positions and working upward. Ability to relocate to emerging markets gives the flexible associate an advantage in career building. You are still a 'name' at Utz, not an employee number. Extremely competitive with national market leader Frito-Lay in multiple regional areas beyond the core market of South-Central PA, Baltimore, Washington, DeMarVa, Richmond, Tidewater & Philadelphia. Opportunity to transfer across departments (Operations to Marketing to I.T., etc...) as well.

Cons

Early morning and sometimes, long hours at beginning of career...Saturday work in operations. Some seven day work required for short periods in resort-beach related markets during the tourist season.

Hours you are done early by 12-1. You take truck home. Have Wednesdays and Sundays off.

Cons

Money is awful could make more at McDonald's doing easier work.
